Hey Food Finders!

I used to love diet soda! I had been drinking it since I was a teenager, but after coming through cancer treatment a few years ago, I decided to give it up due to the high concentration of artificial sweeteners (no judgement for those who drink diet soda, it's just my personal choice). I switched to unsweetened flavored seltzer. I still love my seltzer and primarily drink that, but I found that once in a while I really crave a sweet soda... especially when I’m eating pizza!

The Food Find

While walking through my local health food market, I spotted Zevia soda. I decided to read the ingredients and saw that the only thing it is sweetened with is stevia! Now I am not a huge fan of the taste of stevia in most things, but I tried this soda and I really like it. It crushes my diet soda cravings when they pop up! I love having a soda option when I want one.

Not only is Zevia Soda sweetened with stevia, they also have 0 SP, 0 calories, 0 sugar, and zero glycemic impact. They are also non-gmo, kosher, vegan, gluten free, soy free, preservative free, sodium free, and have zero artificial colors (yep the cola is clear!).

The Flavors

They have SO many flavors: Cola, Decaf Cola, Lemon Lime Twist (their version of Sprite), Orange, Grapefruit Citrus (their version of Fresca), Ginger Ale, Root Beer, Strawberry, and Mountain Zevia (their version of Mountain Dew).

I have not tried all of the flavors, but of the ones I have tried, my favorites are the regular Cola, the decaf Cola, and Grapefruit Citrus. The colas, to me, taste like they squeezed a little lemon juice in them which I also like.
